Érika de Souza Vieira Nunes is accused of wheeling her dead uncle, Paulo Roberto Braga, into a bank and trying to make it appear as if he was signing a loan to her for $3,250 in Bangu, Brazil, notes CNN Brazil.
A video shows a woman holding a pen and moving the corpse’s hand with no response from the corpse. Witnesses claim she told the corpse: “Uncle are you listening? You need to sign,” reports KTVQ.
The woman’s lawyer claimed Braga died while at the bank, but police say he was dead on arrival.
