A new poll by The New York Times and Siena College finds that former President Donald Trump is leading President Joe Biden 46% to 40% among Hispanics even though Trump has claimed that Hispanics are rapists and criminals.
The New York Times notes why some Hispanics supports Trump, who was found liable for rape and has been charged with over 90 felonies:
Many Latino voters have also pointed to Mr. Trump’s personality as a key part of his appeal. Mr. Trump’s lead has grown among Latino voters in the last four years, according to Times/Siena polls.
