Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis mocked the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) while COVID-19 ripped through his state, and brought back long testing lines, notes WFOR.
DeSantis told the unmasked American Legislative Exchange Council in Utah that the CDC was pushing “hysteria” and “fear mongering,” reports POLITICO. DeSantis claimed the massive surge in Florida was “seasonal” even though the COVID Delta didn’t exist until the beginning of the year and has no seasonal history.
