Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis mocked Dr. Anthony Fauci during the Student Action Summit at the Tampa Convention Center much to the delight of screaming young conservatives on July 19.
The event is being presented by Turning Point USA, a right wing organization with a history of science denial, false claims and racism.
DeSantis bragged about the “free state of Florida” and added, “we believe in lifting people up, not locking people down,” wildly exaggerating safety guidelines in other states as horrific persecution, Tampa Bay Times.
