COVID-denying Pastor Jack Hibbs of Calvary Chapel in Chino Hills, California, turned his church service into a campaign event for right wing radio host Larry Elder — who is seeking to replace Gov. Gavin Newsom in an upcoming recall election — on Aug. 15, notes Right Wing Watch.
Hibbs used the church service to push for donations for Elder, a clear violation of of U.S. law and the teachings of Jesus regarding money-changers in a house of worship.
In an appeal to Trump voters, Elder claimed the presidential the election was “extremely unfair” only one week after saying Biden “won the election fairly and squarely.”
