A Wisconsin woman, Ekaterina Deistler,bragged on video she was paid $1 million by billionaire Elon Musk to vote for Brad Schimel for the state Supreme Court election and told others to do the same. Attorney General Josh Kaul to block Elon Musk from giving away the money, but the Wisconsin Supreme Court refused to hear the case, reports the MIlwaukee Journal Sentinel.
In a video posted by Elon Musk’s PAC, a $1M check recipient linked voting to receiving the money: “My name’s Ekaterina Deistler. …I did exactly what Elon Musk told everyone to do: sign the petition, refer friends and family, vote, and now I have a million dollars.”
