U.S. Army officials defended a female staff member at Arlington National Cemetery who was “pushed aside” by two men working for the Trump campaign who were illegally taking pictures of Former President Donald Trump for campaign purposes, notes The Washington Post.
Army officials said the Arlington staffer “acted with professionalism” by trying to restrict the photography, reports CNN:
The Trump campaign tried to use the cemetery pictures and visit by Trump to blame Vice President Kamala Harris for the deaths of 13 U.S. troops who were killed during the evacuation of Afghanistan.
