President Donald Trump and Fox News are promising retribution against Democrats whom they claim are responsible for murdering Charlie Kirk, despite no evidence to back them up.

Just hours after MAGA activist Charlie Kirk was pronounced dead from a gunshot wound — and without any suspect yet arrested or motive discovered — President Donald Trump blamed his death on “radical left political violence” in a video posted to his social media platform. Now, multiple journalists and commentators are sounding the alarm over his remarks.
In his speech, Trump promised to find and prosecute both the person responsible for Kirk’s murder, and then broadened his focus by pledging to crack down on “other political violence, including the organizations that fund it and support it, as well as those who go after our judges, law enforcement officials and everyone else who brings order to our country.”

Fox News Jesse Watters called for Republicans to “avenge Charlie’s death” in a threatening speech:
They are at war with us, whether we want to accept it or not. And what are we going to do about it? Charlie would want us to put as much pressure on these people as possible….. This is unacceptable, and it has to stop. And it has to stop now. And everybody’s accountable. And we’re watching what they’re saying on television and who’s saying what. The politicians, the media, and all these rats out there. This can never happen again. It ends now…. This is a turning point.

Five historically Black colleges and universities were reportedly locked down after receiving threats the day after MAGA influencer Charlie Kirk was murdered:
Alabama State University announced that the campus was closed for the remainder of the day and that students should shelter in place. Clark Atlanta University also advised students to shelter in place. Similar alerts were issued by Southern University Baton Rouge, Virginia State University, and Hampton University.
