Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Commissioner Marty Makary told Fox News insulin should be withheld from people with diabetes and replaced with “cooking classes.”
Makary — who falsely claimed the US would have heard immunity from COVID by April 2021 — made his anti-science comments while promoting President Donald Trump’s Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) Commission:
We’ve got to talk about environmental toxins that cause cancer, not just the chemo to treat it. And maybe we need to treat more diabetes with cooking classes, not just throwing insulin at people.
