Tennessee Lt. Gov. Randy McNally was caught “liking” a 20-year-old gay nude model on Instagram, and calling the model’s butt a “super look.”
During an interview with WTVF, McNally defended his repeated likes of the self-described “hoe” by saying he was trying to encourage him.
McNally supports conservative laws that target LGBT people, including a bill to criminalize drag shows, reports The Washington Post.
WTVF notes that McNally’s office said the 79-year-old “has no intention of stopping” this practice:
As anyone in Tennessee politics knows, Lt. Governor McNally is a prolific social media commenter. He takes great pains to view every post he can and frequently posts encouraging things to many of his followers. Does he always use the proper emoji at the proper time? Maybe not. But he enjoys interacting with constituents and Tennesseans of all religions, backgrounds and orientations on social media. He has no intention of stopping.
McNally was mocked on “Saturday Night Live.”
