Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) questioned Robert F. Kennedy Jr. about his $2 million income from a law firm that searches for plaintiffs to sue over vaccines during his confirmation hearing to be head of Health and Human Services (HHS); Kennedy has a long history of science denial on vaccines.
Sen. Warren asked RFK Jr. if he would would agree not to accept any cash payments while serving as secretary of HHS, but Kennedy twisted the question into Warren asking if he won’t sue drug companies:
“You’re asking me to not sue drug companies. And I’m not going to agree to that,” Kennedy falsely claimed. Warren shouted over him, “No, I am not!”
