To cement her image as Washington’s top toilet cop, Mace has also posted a string of photos to social media in which she poses next to bathroom signs, which can best be described as “peculiar.” As The Onion social media editor June Sternbach quipped on Bluesky on Wednesday, “some people go on vacations to sightsee and go on beautiful hikes but nancy mace flies around the country looking at bathrooms.”
