Rep. Jasmine Crockett Explains How Republicans Took Control of the US House by Gerrymandering North Carolina, Want to do the Same to Texas

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) explained on MSNBC how North Carolina Republicans redrew voting districts to add three seats, which was enough to give Republicans control of the U.S. House, which Texas Republicans are trying to do right now.

We should have the House right now. Let me say it again: we should have the House.

This ain’t just a Texas problem, it’s a national problem. They’re stealing seats to keep power, and that’s how we ended up with Speaker Johnson instead of Speaker Jeffries.
