Nebraska state senator Steve Halloran (R) tried to sexually humiliate statew senator Machaela Cavanaugh (D) by substituting her name in a rape scene from the book “Lucky” by Alice Seabold on March 25. After being called out his obvious sexual harassment, Halloran then claimed he was talking about a different male colleague named Cavanaugh, notes KETV.
The Nebraska Examiner notes Halloran will be investigated for sexual harassment:
Halloran falsely claimed in April 2023 that rape cannot cause pregnancy: “No one’s forcing anyone to be pregnant. Pregnancy’s a voluntary act between two consenting adults.”
