Motorcycle stuntman Alex Harvill died while trying to set a world record breaking jump in Moses Lake, Washington, on June 17.
Harvill was trying to jump the length of goal post to goal post on a football field (351 feet), but never got the height he needed from his take off ramp at the Grant County International Airport, reports KREM:
The organizer of the airshow told KREM 2’s Morgan Trau that they had medical personnel prepared for Harvill, as they knew this stunt was risky. According to video KREM 2 shot, it was about 2 minutes and 30 seconds before an EMT reached the stuntman after the crash.
