A streamer with the group described it as a “total Aryan victory.” pic.twitter.com/Ke83IyMUIi
WUSA also reported on the group:
Patriot Front is a far right group that splintered from Vanguard America in the wake of the infamous “Unite the Right” demonstrations in Charlottesville, Va., according to the Southern Poverty Law Center.
The group marched despite Fourth of July parade cancelations throughout the DMV, including one celebrating America’s 250th birthday in the District proper.
Journalists’ video and posts on social media showed the men in the white masks and distinctive dark shirts and beige pants associated with the Patriot Front.
Patches on their hats indicated affiliation with the group as well. Some could be seen carrying an array of flags, including American flags, inverted American flags, and flags bearing the Patriot Front symbol.
