Fans of former President Donald Trump turned out in droves for his controversial Saudi-sponsored tournament in Bedminister, New Jersey, on July 30.
The Saudi royal family was behind the gory murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi and funded the 9/11 terrorist attack against the U.S.
While 9/11 families protested the golf event, Trump defended the Saudis by falsely claiming, “Nobody’s gotten to the bottom of 9/11,” reports NBC News.
Meanwhile, fans of Trump had no problem issuing their support for the event by cheering “Four more years!” notes Yahoo News:
Trump fan Dave Teed, a local firefighter at the event, told Golfweek that he “can deal with” the Saudi Arabia “thing,” but if it was “China or something like that, no way. I wouldn’t be here.”
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) also came to applaud the Saudi tournament, which honored the murderous royal family.
