ABC News reports that two former police officers — Harry Dunn and Daniel Hodges — who were beaten by Jan. 6 rioters — are suing the Trump administration to stop Trump from paying out taxpayer money from a $1 billion slush fund to Jan. 6 rioters who attacked the U.S. Capitol.
The Constitution of the United States, Fourteenth Amendment, Section 4 states: “…the United States nor any State shall assume or pay any debt or obligation incurred in aid of insurrection or rebellion against the United States.”
