Evangelist Franklin Graham promoted Turning Point USA’s upcoming Super Bowl “All-American Halftime Show” which features Kid Rock whose songs include “Balls in Your Mouth” and “Cool, Daddy Cool,” which contains the lyrics, “Young ladies, young ladies, I like ’em underage, see some say that’s statutory (but I say that’s mandatory),” reports KTLA:

Ahead of Sunday’s “All-American Halftime Show,” an “alternative” Super Bowl halftime show organized by conservative group Turning Point USA, people on social media are pointing to what they say is hypocrisy considering some past lyrics by headliner Kid Rock.
The show, billed as a celebration of “American faith, family and freedom,” according to TPUSA, was created due to right-wing outrage over the NFL’s selection of global superstar Bad Bunny for Halftime Show headliner.
Puerto Rican Bad Bunny, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, has been a vocal critic of the Trump administration’s immigration raids. This past Sunday at the Grammy Awards, where he won the night’s top honor, the Spanish language artist boldly pronounced, “ICE out.”
…But many online were quick to point out that the framing of Bad Bunny’s Halftime Show as antithetical to “faith” and “family” was odd considering lyrics from the country singer’s own career.
Most notably, social media users honed in on Kid Rock’s 2001 song, “Cool, Daddy Cool,” which contains the lyrics, “Young ladies, young ladies, I like ’em underage, see some say that’s statutory (but I say that’s mandatory).”
