CBS canceled Colbert’s show just THREE DAYS after Colbert called out CBS parent company Paramount for its $16M settlement with Trump – a deal that looks like bribery.

CBS announced it canceled “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” three days after the host mocked the $16 million dollars that CBS’ parent company Paramount paid President Donald Trump to drop a lawsuit over CBS’ “60 Minutes” in order to facilitate the sale of Paramount to Skydance. Colbert also announced the cancellation.

CBS said the show — the highest-rated in late-night — would end in May 2026 and “is purely a financial decision against a challenging backdrop in late night. It is not related in any way to the show’s performance, content or other matters happening at Paramount,” reports CNN.
