Missouri state Sen. Mike Moon (R) defended child marriage for kids as young as 12 years old during a debate to end the practice. A bill to ban child marriages passed the state Senate with Moon casting the only “no” vote, reports KY3.
KCUR reports that Gov. Mike Kehoe signed the bill that also bans child marriage and stop child sex abusers from using non-disclosure agreements to silence their victims.
