President Donald Trump signed the “big beautiful bill” that will cut Medicaid for millions of people and lead to the closure of rural hospitals (especially in Republican states) that depend on Medicaid for funding. The bill also cuts funding for Planned Parenthood, which provides health care for women.
In response, “pro-life” Republican Christians, such as Kristan Hawkins (pictured above), cheered the medical cuts that prolong human life and reduce suffering.
