Victor Marx — a pro-life Christian who runs a ministry in Colorado who said he has “possibly” killed people (video below) — won the Republican nomination for Governor in Colorado, setting up a general election matchup with state Attorney General Phil Weiser, reports NBC News:
Marx has long claimed that an abusive stepfather forced him to kill a man when he was only 7 years old. The assertion resurfaced when Marx said in a May interview with NBC affiliate KUSA of Denver that he’d also possibly killed other people.
Victor Marx claims to have been forced to kill a man at age 7. And he talks about the necessity of killing people in the course of his "high-risk missionary" work. So I asked him how many people he's killed on his missions.

Marx was also asked about how many women and children he has allegedly rescued from abuse after his campaign website removed a false claim that he’s rescued more than 45,000 women and children.

Marx wouldn't say how many women and children he's rescued, despite fundraising off those claims. pic.twitter.com/JYhrVFKK9u
